1. Operator and contracting entity
HACCP Made Simple is operated by Apron Recruit Ltd, trading as Profit Point Hospitality. Apron Recruit Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 11628487.
In these Terms, “HACCP Made Simple”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Apron Recruit Ltd.
2. Service status
HACCP Made Simple is currently in development and private testing and is not offered for unrestricted public use. Website pricing describes the intended commercial model and does not create a software subscription until customer access and binding terms are expressly agreed.
3. The service
HACCP Made Simple is a HACCP-based digital food safety management system designed for catering and hospitality operations in England and Wales. It is intended to connect a site-specific FSMS with daily checks, controls, corrective actions, attributable records, verification and management review.
4. Accounts and authorised users
Where accounts are provided, the customer must ensure access is limited to authorised users, account details are accurate and access credentials are protected. Users must act only within their assigned responsibilities.
5. Customer and operator responsibilities
The customer remains responsible for the real-world food operation, competent management, staff training and supervision, food-safety decisions and compliance with applicable law.
The customer must ensure the service is configured to reflect the actual premises, menu, equipment, suppliers and processes, and must review the configuration when the operation changes.
6. Product scope and specialist processes
The core system does not automatically cover every specialist process. Specialist or higher-risk processes may require additional controls, modules, documented validation or scope review before the configured system is suitable for those activities.
7. Information supplied by customers and users
Customers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawful use of information entered into the service. Records should reflect what actually happened and must not be falsified, backdated or used to conceal a food-safety failure.
8. Acceptable use
The service must not be misused, interfered with, accessed without authority, used to introduce malicious code or used in a way that infringes another person’s rights or applicable law.
9. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
Website pricing describes the intended subscription model. A subscription is created only when customer access and the applicable billing, renewal and cancellation terms are expressly agreed.
10. Availability, maintenance and changes
The service may require maintenance, security updates and changes. No uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised. Material service commitments and support arrangements must be defined in the final customer terms.
11. Intellectual property
Rights in the HACCP Made Simple product, branding, software and supplied content remain with their respective owner. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of those rights to a visitor or customer.
12. Confidentiality and privacy
Each party should protect confidential information appropriately. Personal information is handled in accordance with the HACCP Made Simple Privacy Notice.
13. Important food-safety limitation
HACCP Made Simple supports and evidences food-safety management. It does not guarantee legal compliance, food safety or a food-hygiene rating; replace competent management; transfer responsibility away from the food business operator; or constitute EHO, FSA, council or local-authority approval.
14. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for security, misuse, non-payment or material breach. Any access, export or post-termination arrangements will be confirmed when customer access is offered.
